so pavements reuniting…
i know i know old news blah.. well daddy di’int have blog back then. N-E-WAYZ rattled by the rush came on the ol’ rypod this morning on my way to work. so i go to the youtubes to stroll down memory lane and it turns out, according to a very reliable source (the user’s video description), the video was banned from Mtv cause it made viewers sick what with all the spinning.
so i watch the video and got dizzy. well done good sirs!
anywho, you could totally tell it was very much malkamus’ band even back then. this song in particular could very easilly be slipped onto any of the jicks albums and one would never know. there really is no point to this entry other than i would hope they tour and stop near my neighborhood and if they were feeling really generous they could treat the hometown crowd to a show in stockton…however it would never happen. the only person in attendance would be me. i dont think the entire city, save a few out of work tower records employees, are even aware the most important band from the 1990’s came from YOURS AND MY HOMETOWN. wake up assholes!
